1.Apple ID is not set on the iPhone before model change

You can use your iPhone without setting up an Apple ID, but an Apple ID is required to use Quick Start.

1. Open the settings screen of the iPhone before changing the model and tap the account name displayed at the top.
2. If your email address is displayed below your name, your Apple ID setup is complete.

2.iOS version is old

Quick Start is not available on older iOS versions. In order to use Quick Start to migrate data, both iPhones before and after the model change must be running iOS 12.4 or later.

This is because data cannot be transferred even if the source iOS version is newer than the destination.

To resolve this issue, complete the initial setup of your new iPhone without transferring data, upgrade to the latest version of iOS, and then initialize it.

3.Bluetooth settings are turned off

Quick Start connects both iPhones via Bluetooth, so it won't be available if Bluetooth is turned off.
